Thermal Image Tests

Thermal Image Testing Surveys for Preventative Maintenance & safety. Locating Hot Spots in Electrical wiring & Mechanical systems for Fire prevention. Proven Amazing results

PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE FOR ELECTRICAL SAFETY.

Qualified to offer a full predictive maintenance service to our existing and future customers. Thermography (thermal imaging) This is applicable to all electrical installations - Industry - Commercial - Domestic testing and Inspecting of electrical installations to fixed wiring and panels. This is a major step forward allowing us to Predict Potential flammable situations before major costly damage is caused by an electrical fire. We are already fully experienced in predictive maintenance electrical overloading and breakdown, using thermal image testing and our existing knowledge you are in the very best of hands with PLES.

MONITORING OF ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS.

Applying infrared imaging technology we are able to look at electrical panels / switchgear / cable terminations electric motors etc, whilst under electrical load - operating conditions, and visually see if overheating is in evidence. The major advantage is no disruption to operations are necessary, and locating a potential hazardous situation is predicted in good time for maintenance repairs to be carried out. We are able to inspect LV - HV intake services with ease.

MECHANICAL SYSTEMS BREAKDOWN PREDICTIONS / PREVENTION.

Mechanical breakdowns on production machinery and plant equipment can be dramatically reduced. Thermography ( thermal image testing ) is the ideal technology to help reduce expensive breakdowns, i.e. overheating bearings and mechanical moving parts.

DATA SHEET RESULT FILE Provided after a test is carried out provides all the results clear to understand.

Predictive maintenance results data sheets are produced of the thermal image test in a clear easy to understand file, including Thermographic images. Potential danger areas are located quickly. This method of predictive maintenance is used for electrical safety within the working environment. Fire prevention and personal injury resulting from faulty or poorly installed wiring.

The Data image below shows an example of the hot spot (choke) in the light fitting, in this instance a normal temperature was recorded.

The Image far right shows a terminal that has overheated, luckily no major damage was caused as this was detected on a thermal scan of an electrical panel.
